Buying a tracking drone does not make you a drone pilot. There is a stretch in between where the machine will happily fly closer and lower than you are willing to let it, and the footage shows it. This session is an honest look at that stage.
What the test shows
The question is whether the Insta360 Antigravity A1 can auto-follow an eFoil rider on a LiftX, and the answer here is yes. Laura is flying it, still building confidence and deliberately keeping to safer altitudes for now. The result is smooth, wide, calm cruising footage rather than the aggressive close passes the drone is capable of. That is a fair trade while you are learning: an intact drone and usable clips beat a spectacular angle and a swim.
Why altitude changes everything
Height is the single biggest lever on how drone footage of a foiler feels. Fly high and the rider becomes a small object drawing a line on a big lake, which reads as peaceful. Drop low and close and the same run reads as fast and dangerous, because you finally have foreground and surface texture rushing past for scale. The plan stated here is more low altitude flights as confidence grows, which is the right order to do it in.
