If you are deciding whether a tracking drone is worth it for filming your own riding, what you want is not a highlight reel. You want to see each shot type, one after another, including the ones that usually break. That is what this episode is: a shot inventory, filmed entirely on the Antigravity A1.
The shot list
It works through a leading shot, a fly-in from height, a standard follow, a transition into a close leading shot, a top down tracking run, a high sweeping pass, a big carve join, a travel side-by-side, and a rear-side angle. Each one is chaptered, so you can jump to the framing you actually care about rather than watching the whole thing. Because the A1 carries an Insta360 X5, the capture is 360 degrees, which means every one of those shots can be reframed afterwards instead of being locked to where the camera was pointing at the time.
The conditions that usually break a drone
The back half is deliberately awkward. Glassy water is a classic problem for downward sensors, and the surface was detected without trouble. A low altitude carve straight into the drone tests how close you can push it. Then come extreme backlight and direct afternoon sun, which is where lens flare either ruins a shot or makes it. Those are the tests worth watching if you ride in the evening, because that is exactly the light you will be flying in.
Two things learned along the way
The edit itself was assembled by a beat matching tool built for this channel, which took an existing cut and realigned it to a new track in well under a minute. The other lesson was cheaper to learn on video than in person: ignoring the low battery warning on the hand controller long enough finally ran it flat, roughly forty minutes of reserve after the first warning, and getting back in required a spare being kayaked out. Charge the remote, not just the board.
