Not every episode is here to teach you something. This one is three minutes of riding with no talking over the top of it, cut to a live rock track, and the only thing being demonstrated is what a particular wing setup looks like when it is being pushed.
The setup on the water

The track is “Obligations Are Chains” by Specific Ambiguity, played live, and the description spends most of its length on where it came from. The short version is that it is about realising how much of what you do you do not actually have to do. It grew out of a Thanksgiving where the pressure to perform family togetherness ran into someone who had no interest in it, and it turned into a rule about who gets to make demands on your time. The chorus lands on “You don’t owe patience to poison, you don’t owe peace to the noise.”
Why the riding and the track fit
The connection is simple enough that it does not need explaining twice. A song about protecting your own time, set against a rider spending his on the water doing the thing he actually wants to be doing.
