The people who should be promoting it are not
The observation is blunt and hard to dismiss. Everyone in a position to promote eFoiling in Minnesota sells boards, or gives lessons, or hosts riders, and almost none of them wants to be the one who shouts about it. The feeling described is of people worried about overstepping, as if promoting the thing they make their living from would be presumptuous. It is offered as a suspicion rather than a certainty, with the caveat that it could be completely wrong, but it explains what it needs to explain: a sport that is genuinely fun to watch and easy to sell has not taken off, because nobody will sell it.
Handing the vagueness to AI
The fix proposed on camera is comic and practical at the same time. Take every scrap of information anyone has actually given about Foil Fest, feed it to an AI, and ask it to turn that into something promotable. If a page comes out the other side, the page goes up. And if anyone objects to how it was promoted, the blame lands on the AI, which only had the answers it was given to work with. That is a joke with a real edge to it, because the vagueness is the input, and vague inputs produce vague pages.
