The course
Verdant Ride Extended
Zigzag through gates 1, 2 and 3, a high speed straightaway out to buoy 4, then a straight run all the way back to the end gates.
Half a mile total. Four yellow turn buoys with buoy 4 farthest out, two green gate buoys 8 to 12 ft apart. Three runs each, best single time counts.
Notes from the Host
Meet at the Pelican Harbor Marina launch on the bay side. Boards, helmets and impact vests are provided, so bring a swimsuit, a rash guard and sunscreen. First hour is dry-land and safety on the dock, then we get everyone up on the water in the shallow flats. No experience needed. If you have never touched a foil before, this is the session for you.
