The course
Verdant Ride Extended
Zigzag through gates 1, 2 and 3, a high speed straightaway out to buoy 4, then a straight run all the way back to the end gates.
Half a mile total. Four yellow turn buoys with buoy 4 farthest out, two green gate buoys 8 to 12 ft apart. Three runs each, best single time counts.
Notes from the Host
Launch from the boat ramp at Lake Union Park on the south end. Street parking on Valley St fills up early, so leave a few extra minutes. Riders meet at the ramp for a short brief at 7:00 and we are on the water by 7:15. Glassy water and almost no boat traffic that early. Bring a light layer for after.
